The Temporary Exhibition Gallery available to hire for local artists, photographers, makers and creatives to share their work with the local community.

We charge a small fee for room hire, but try to keep it as low as possible, and for selling exhibitions we charge 20% commission. You can hire the space for a minimum period of 2 weeks, and a maximum of 8 weeks.

The Gallery is on the ground floor of the museum, accessible both from the High Street (ramped access) and from South Street car park through the museum garden (5 steps).  Coffee and tea is served to visitors in the gallery, creating a pleasant, relaxed environment in which to enjoy the exhibitions.
